How to Never Play a Barre Chord Again Pt. 1 – “Fun” Barre Chords and 10th Chords
NUMBER OF VIDEOS: 42
NUMBER OF CMTE CREDITS: 6
Description:
Barre chords are incredibly valuable and useful, but many music therapists, guitarists, and music therapy students have said that they can be challenging. As a professional guitar player, I almost never play barre chords and want others to feel the joy of being able to play guitar effortlessly. The tutorial videos will teach you how to play different chord voicings or “grips” to replace your barre chords (even 2 fingered chords!). However, it’s not enough to just know the information – I will help you get these techniques under your fingers with my play-along practice videos so you can transfer these skills to music therapy sessions! Along the way, there will be valuable “nuggets” of information, such as songwriting and producing applications, very brief excerpts of a couple of riffs that use these chords, tips to identify the notes on the fretboard, and more!
Testimonials:
Here are testimonials from other videos I’ve produced:
“I really enjoyed these videos! I thought the speed in which you taught the riff and broke down each bar was perfect for playing along. It made the riff seem much more approachable.”
- Rebekah, MT-BC
“Ryan, these videos are really dynamic and engaging!! I love the camera set-up, editing, and the audio feels like it's at a really good level. So glad to have a sneak peek at these resources!”
